The recently launched album Colours seems to be doing okay in the digital space. Guess the depth of the concept takes a while to get through. But I feel quite confident that the sound is going to make it beyond a few spins.
A track from the album, "Pink" got nominated last week at the indie-go music awards 2011 for best instrumental. That felt really good.
In the absence of money for doing any big time promos or band mates to chip into the energy of promoting it, along with the need to continue my day job schedule, I guess it will takes its own sweet time.
I keep reminding myself the thought that all this album needs is a good mentor. Someone in whose ears this will make sense and the rest will take it where it should be.
